TIMED LESSON DELIVERY
1. START CLASS — 7 MINUTES
Follow the attendance and opening routine above. Direct students to the posted warm-up and establish what students must produce today.
2. SET THE PURPOSE / MODEL — 10 MINUTES
Read the learning goal and directions aloud. Ask a student to restate the task.
Teacher-provided delivery notes: Open the slides and read the task directions. Model how to annotate the first paragraph, then release students to partner analysis. Pause midway for a two-minute evidence check.
3. PRIMARY LEARNING TASK — 30 MINUTES
Students work on: Primary-source perspectives on the Industrial Revolution.
Their final work must demonstrate: Students will compare two perspectives and explain one important difference using evidence.
Circulate, redirect students to written directions, and check that every student produces visible work.
